For Immediate Release (Birmingham, Alabama, February 3rd, 2022) ResBiotic Nutrition Inc, a microbiome-based nutrition company pioneering probiotics for lung health, today announced the expansion of its leadership team to include Nina Rance as Chief of Staff, Maggie Belshé as Chief Customer Officer, and Dr. Mani Kukreja (MD, MPH) as Director of Integrative Health and Wellness. The new roles will support the company’s growing customer base, referral network, new product development, and distribution opportunities for the company’s flagship product: resB® Lung Support.

Nina Rance is an experienced executive who most recently served as Head of Business Operations for Origin Primary Limited – a London-based financial technology company that connects issuers and dealers from around the world on one platform. Prior to Origin, Nina served as a Capital Partnering Team Analyst for General Atlantic – one of the largest Private Equity firms in the world, providing capital and strategic support for growth companies. As Chief of Staff, she will be a strategic business partner to Founder and CEO Dr. C. Vivek Lal, overseeing day-to-day business operations and leading talent acquisition and retention for the growing team.

Maggie Belshé joined ResBiotic in 2021 as Executive Vice President of Marketing. Having been instrumental in positioning ResBiotic to become a top microbiome-based nutrition company, her responsibilities have expanded to include the leadership of customer experience, fulfillment, and distribution functions. Maggie joined ResBiotic by way of the international entrepreneurship nonprofit Endeavor, where she led the organization’s Birmingham operations. Before that, she served as Director of Marketing for digital health coaching startup Pack Health, which recently sold to Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX) for an undisclosed sum.

“In the two months since we launched resB® Lung Support, we’re seeing growing demand not just for our supplement but also for information on the microbiome as it relates to lung, gut, and immune health,” shares Founder Dr. C. Vivek Lal. “I’m excited to work more closely with Nina and Maggie as we scale up our operations to help more people prioritize their gut, lung, and immune health.” Dr. Lal is the Director of the Pulmonary Microbiome Lab at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The Director of Integrative Health and Wellness position is a new role dedicated to helping customers optimize their resB® routine in the context of their health goals. As the Founder of her own practice, Livagewell, Dr. Mani Kukreja brings extensive experience helping clients optimize their lifestyle to support gut health, immune health, and healthy aging.
